What is Salajit?

There is no major difference in Shilajit whatever the source. The most important part is how it is prepared for use. If Shilajit is prepared on a fire or cat meter, it can be prepared in jhantas. But Shilajit has to face sunlight to prepare. It may take 8 months to get it. This Shilajit is called Aftabi Shilajit. This is the most beneficial form of Shilajit.
